Laser Operator – Dorking – Permanent

Operators in the Laser Cell are responsible for high quality production of parts, working with team spirit, are well organised, working to production targets, communicating concerns and problems to their supervisor/manager while working to safety procedures, good housekeeping and general conduct.

You will be required to set and operate CNC brake press and powered rollers on stainless and mild steel components for high quality production of parts. A strong team player who is well organised and an excellent communicator whilst working within strict safety procedures.

You will need to interpret drawing information and work to company quality requirements whilst maintaining computerised component job files and update these as required

Assembly fitters – Dorking – 4 x Fixed Term Contracts

We are looking to recruit assembly fitters who will be responsible for contributing to the productive output of the assembly line to ensure that production and quality standards are maintained.

Main duties include assembly of all sub and main assemblies in line with the defined process, following assembly drawings and process sheets.

Applicants will be required to operate within the constraints of the Risk Assessments in place and to work to high levels of health and safety.

Manufacturing Engineer – Dorking – Permanent

The engineers will be responsible for providing assembly process documents, best assembly methods, facility layout and offer full support to production to achieve target dates.

You will need to assess engineering drawings and bills of materials against assembly sequence in production and request Engineering improvements.

Also required to solve technical problems arising from mechanical assembly, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrics paint and test processes working closely with the engineering team to eliminate future problems.

The successful candidate will have an understanding and be able to design production flow lines and be able to interpret and understand engineering drawings.

Excellent time management skills, able to work in a team and seek out support when required with the ability to work under pressure.

Mobile Service Technician – 2 x Dorking – Permanent

Our Customer Service Depot (based in Dorking) is looking to recruit conscientious, reliable and customer orientated technicians to offer the best possible level of Service support within their region. Also able to look at cost effective technical solutions and repairs, wherever possible at the customer’s convenience.

You will ideally have a time served apprenticeship in motor vehicle technology with accredited technical qualifications. Previous experience in a fast moving motor industry workshop is desirable with preference to commercial/municipal or plant machinery.

A motivated team player who is also able to work under their own supervision with a flexible, ‘can do’ attitude to the role.

Ideally the successful candidate will be based in Northampton, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire or Cambridgeshire areas.

Bristol Customer Service Controller – Bristol Depot – 1 x Permanent & 1 x FTC (Maternity Cover)

The successful candidate in this role will provide the front line support within the Bristol service department by being an interface with the customer, handling all incoming service requests in a prompt and effective manner and scheduling all technician work.

You will create job cards via SAP, technician job sheets, reacting to VOR (vehicle off road) and non-VOR situations with efficiency whilst keeping the customers fully updated on situations.

You will be an excellent communicator and able to prioritise your workload with a proven track record in a fast moving, customer facing role, either within motor industry or other customer service environment.

Quality Systems Engineer – Dorking – Permanent

We are looking for a Quality Systems Engineer to join our team in Dorking.

You will be responsible for operating the multi-site Quality Management System (QMS), writing and updating procedures and processes to support the QMS development. The successful applicant will be required to lead and undertake audits across all areas of the business as well as across the supply chain.

Duties also include providing training and undertaking moderate complexity projects.

A working understanding of quality systems, particularly ISO9001 is required plus a working knowledge of quality techniques such as SPC, Ishikawa diagrams, Pareto analysis and FMEA.

A self-starter who has drive and tenacity together with a good communicator who is able to use quality techniques to describe and solve problems and drive corrective action is essential to this role.

Service Centre Based Technician –1 x Bristol – Permanent

Our Customer Service Centre (based in Bristol) is looking for Workshop Based Technician to undertake repairs and service on vehicles in our depots.  This is not a mobile role and therefore we will be looking for someone who will work closely with the Service Centre Manager and Controller to provide regular updates on the status of repairs to allow close customer contact.

You will be required to complete all types of service and repairs in the most efficient manner without compromising quality, to the highest standards, including following diagnosis paths.

You will have worked in a fast moving motor industry workshop, be motivated and able to work under your own supervision.
