Assembly fitters – Dorking – Fixed Term Contracts

We are looking to recruit assembly fitters who will be responsible for contributing to the productive output of the assembly line to ensure that production and quality standards are maintained.

Main duties include assembly of all sub and main assemblies in line with the defined process, following assembly drawings and process sheets.

Applicants will be required to operate within the constraints of the Risk Assessments in place and to work to high levels of health and safety.

Mig Welders – Dorking – Permanent

We currently have opportunities for experienced Welders within our Welding and Fabrication department based in Dorking.

Applicants should be skilled and competent in both mild and stainless steel.

The candidate will be working a shift pattern of 0545 -1345/1415-2215 alternating on a weekly basis.  Applicants must be prepared to carry out a Weld test at interview.

Senior Store Keeper – Dorking – Fixed Term Contract

The Senior Storekeeper will have responsibility for an area of inventory which involves booking in deliveries, kit sub-contracting, CI counts, clearing old orders, chasing shortages and creating KPI’s.

You will need to carry out inventory transactions (using SAP), ensuring that the records held on the system are accurate at all times.  Receiving, check and raising Goods Received Notes (GRN’s) for all goods and unloading of delivery vehicles where required using our counterbalance fork lift truck.

A strong communicator and able to work well under pressure.

Warehouse Operative – Dorking – Permanent (unit 5)

The successful applicant is responsible for ensuring that all the company’s inventory records are timely and accurately recorded.  Executing warehouse activities relating to goods receipt, goods put away, order picking, packing and shipping.  All team members are responsible for maintaining a high standard of housekeeping to ensure that all goods in and the warehouse areas are kept clean, safe and tidy.

Basic knowledge of general warehouse layout, item identification and warehouse procedures is an important requirement for the role.  You will be a team player who is dynamic, energetic and enthusiastic with excellent organisational skills and an ability and willingness to work accurately under pressure.

Mobile Service Technician – 1 x Livingston – Permanent

Our Customer Service Depot (based in Livingston) is looking to recruit conscientious, reliable and customer orientated technicians to offer the best possible level of Service support within their region. Also able to look at cost effective technical solutions and repairs, wherever possible at the customer’s convenience.

You will ideally have a time served apprenticeship in motor vehicle technology with accredited technical qualifications. Previous experience in a fast moving motor industry workshop is desirable with preference to commercial/municipal or plant machinery.

A motivated team player who is also able to work under their own supervision with a flexible, ‘can do’ attitude to the role.

Customer Service Controller – Leeds Depot – Permanent

The successful candidate in this role will provide the front line support within the Leeds Service Department by being an interface with the customer, handling all incoming service requests in a prompt and effective manner and scheduling all technician work.

You will create job cards via SAP, technician job sheets, reacting to VOR (vehicle off road) and non-VOR situations with efficiency whilst keeping the customers fully updated on situations.

Customer Service Buyer – Dorking – Permanent

We are looking for a buyer to join our Purchasing team who will take responsibility for establishing, developing and negotiating supplier agreements for spare parts supply in conjunction with the production buying team.  The successful candidate will be responsible for all inter company purchasing with a good understanding of ‘Total Cost’ and supply chain philosophies.

Good IT skills together with a working knowledge of SAP are essential criteria for candidates.

The ideal candidate should have a sound knowledge of purchasing within an engineering/manufacturing environment and an understanding of modern planning/purchasing techniques.

The ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise workloads and meet deadlines are all important factors of this role.

Quality Systems Engineer – Dorking – Permanent

We are looking for a Quality Systems Engineer to join our team in Dorking.

You will be responsible for operating the multi-site Quality Management System (QMS), writing and updating procedures and processes to support the QMS development.  The successful applicant will be required to lead and undertake audits across all areas of the business as well as across the supply chain.

Duties also include providing training and undertaking moderate complexity projects.

A working understanding of quality systems, particularly ISO9001 is required plus a working knowledge of quality techniques such as SPC, Ishikawa diagrams, Pareto analysis and FMEA.

A self-starter who has drive and tenacity together with a good communicator who is able to use quality techniques to describe and solve problems and drive corrective action is essential to this role.

Electrical Engineer – Dorking – Permanent

Reporting to the Systems Engineering Manager you will be involved in all matters in the electrical engineering design and development of the Bucher Municipal and Johnston Sweepers range.

The successful candidate will have a sound understanding of automotive electrical engineering together with the ability to design automotive electrical circuit diagrams, preferably using E3 CAD software.  An understanding of CAN-based control systems is also essential for the role.

You will assist in the prototyping of new components and assemblies and evaluate and test them under representative conditions.

An ability to work within a multi-disciplined team and excellent communication skills are also essential criteria.
